Subaqueous spatial imaging can increase insight into site conditions. This data is collected via autonomous vehicle sonar or bathymetric LiDAR depending on site conditions and client applications. This data can be integrated into models that include other spatial data, such as traditional LiDAR of an exposed surface or geophysical measurements, to create a complete 3D view of the subject area. sUAS bathymetric data collection has less of a physical impact on a site. This can be highly valuable when the project site is in a delicate area. Our data is collected from a drone and does not require the use of an occupied (or unoccupied) vehicle in the water. Personnel are not required to physically access the majority of the site, limiting impact on flora and fauna as well as increasing project safety by limiting exposure to potential hazards or contaminants. Unlike traditional methods of decontamination, a watercraft is not necessary as the sUAS does not contact the surface. Our sUAS and terrestrial systems are fully electric (with hybrid hydrogen fuel cell technology optional as project requirements and site resources dictate). These systems have no emissions while operating on-site. Further, the fully electric systems are quieter than traditional methods limiting both atmospheric and noise pollution.
By keeping access limited, we help protect wildlife and make things safer by cutting down on exposure to risks and contaminants.
